Rooms are 2 star and pretty dated, but the balcony view is nice if you can get one, and rooms on that side could be 3 star. Staff (especially kat) were friendly and helpful. Food is insanely good - genuinely 5*, and whoever has been cooking/designing the menu recently is going places. Social areas are good for school groups, but loud kids and banging doors in all areas of the hotel from 7am-11pm should put families/couples off; there are better places to stay if you are a small group. Overall 3 star.
