we visited on a hot day in August. There are a number of restaurants, side by side, on the terrace and the setting is idyllic. We were disappointed to find that there is really no view of the sea because the thick bushes next to the terrace wall are too high to see over when seated.
Never mind, we were in holiday mode and asked for advice on a long, cold drink . A drink was recommended and it turned out to be a child's 'traffic lights' drink with a syrupy taste. The waitress had become grumpy when we did not choose wine.
Another waitress was very helpful in explaining the menu to us but there was a long wait for our order and we had barely finished the first course when the next arrived.
We asked for a respite before ordering dessert/coffee. Having ordered the dessert it was banged down in front of me and it was evident that lingering wasn't encouraged.
The food was not as tasty or fresh as the menu suggested and it was a pity that the service did no justice to the surroundings.
