We rented four rooms to make a stopover while heading to the south of France. I asked for joined rooms and two seperate rooms. The lady at the reception had everything correct in her system, and we were given rooms 101, 102, 103 & 104. The rooms are large enough, with a nice bathroom. Shower is good, but for people larger then 1m85 it's a bit too low. Cleanliness was ok, although one room had a smoke smell. In our room there was no noise at night. A comfortable bed as usual in the Ibis chain. We didn't go for the breakfast, as we had to go early. On the other side of the road is a sort of grocery store with a bakery next to it. The bakery has got some very good French specialties, please go and try them. Ample parking available and one minute away from the motorway. The only thing is that the price may be a bit too high for what you get (€83/room)

Room Tip: All rooms are sound proofed, but if you can get a room facing away from the motorway.

on the way to the sun this is a splendid stopover hotel near Lyon. It was a mercure hotel but it is now completely renovated. I liked the design. Conveniently located close to the highway.
Booking ahead by internet gave us a better price breakfast included.

Hi. Have stayed here twice and it's been the same both times. Room is typical Ibis standard, adequate and does what it "says on the tin". Breakfast is the usual all you can eat continental style, which is plenty good enough. The staff are very good and the lady on reception spoke English if required. Easy to find and close to the motorway.

However, I am a light sleeper and both times I have stayed here, I have heard the lift going up and down until late at night and early in the morning. Because of that reason, I wont be staying here again.

This does not reflect on the Ibis chain as I do stay in them on a regular basis, both in France and Switzerland.

So, all in all a good Hotel and if you don't mind the noise of the lift, then it could be a good place to stop over on the long drive south.

By the way, I clicked the "swimming pool" setting below by mistake. However, I am pretty sure there isn't a swiming pool at this hotel

Room Tip: Ask for a room NOT near the lift shaft.

The room is very simple, has everything that you need but nothing more.
you have soap dispenser instead of samples.
The location is good for the people who have a car. in fact the highway sare easily accessible.
The room is a little bit noisy, you can hear the outside traffic
The breakfast is good but not included. ( 8,5Euro).
