“Geat experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2013

We took part in the class and really enjoyed it. The course is very well organised and Barbara did show us what's important in the Provence kitchen not only via dishes we had prepared together (all delicious and already tried few times when we back home and all of them work!!!), but also sharing with us her experience of cooking/living in this area.
Recommend to anyone who likes food and is looking for something else than site-sighting, cycling or wine tasting!

“Delicious”

Recently I joined Barbara's cooking class in her beautiful and charming house in Provence. It was a delightful experience to prepare and taste authentic Provencal cuisine. The result was a most tasty and inspiring lunch.

“Provencal style cooking that will make you smile”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2013

While visiting Provence for a week in June my wife and I drove to Vaison la Romaine to spend a day learning in Barbara's kitchen. With two other students, we explored the wonders of simple food preparation in a provencal style to produce an assortment of dishes from grilled red pepper chilled soup to a tampenade to a tomato and cheese tart and even a "clafoutis" which we learned was a baked French desert made with fresh fruit. Fresh was certainly the word of the day - from the fresh herbs harvested from Barbara's expansive gardens to the other assorted ingredients she had recently brought home from the local market. Working together with Barbara and the other students, we produced a most enjoyable lunch which all enjoyed while the mistral blew up the valley. Home again with Barbara's lessons and recipes in hand, we're ready to go out on our own in provencal cooking style next week as we entertain friends with our efforts and, of course, a few glasses of French wines!

“Magnifique!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2013 via mobile

While attending a yoga retreat outside of Malaucene, we had an opportunity to take this cooking class with Barbara. What a treat! Barbara is an enjoyable, knowledgeable woman. The class was hands on and we made six wonderful Provencal dishes that we then got to enjoy with Barbara whilst overlooking her marvelous gardens. A must do!

“Wonderful cooking class”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2013

We took a cooking class with Barbara in May while on our honeymoon, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Barbara is kind, warm, and interesting, and her home is beautiful - the perfect setting for a cooking class. We made a five-course lunch, which we ate together accompanied by wine. The dishes were classic Provencal and delicious, focusing on ingredients like olives and tomatoes and herbs from Barbara's garden. Lunch concluded with chocolate mousse. Highly recommend for anyone who is interested in cooking.
