Thoroughly recommended. Very professionally run, food is particularly good and staff are very helpful. Great location and 10 mins from st.marie de mere which is a must-see.
We were given an upgrade to one of the charming new caravans which was lovely.
Wifi is a bit hit and miss but we really didn't care!

Recently a group of us stayed at Mas de Calabrun, and had a wonderful time. The setting is ideal, a ten minute drive from town, and in the midst of numerous horse ranches. Set back from the road, it provides privacy as well as convenience.
The rooms are well done, with more than adequate space for luggage and clothes. The meals are particularly good, offering a scrumptious breakfast that goes far beyond the typical croissants-and-café meal. The outdoor patio and pool provided delightful areas for eating lunch, as well as breakfast. The service is excellent, being particularly responsive to all of our group's and individual needs. Stay there if you have a chance.

The hotel, was superb! in every way, your room light and very comfortable
but also very clean, it was overlooking the swimming pool and had the added special effects of swallows making nests outside room!
Now the food is another story..5 star and 30 euros for the most delicious 3 course meal
presented and prepared to perfection..heaven!
Set in a great area, not too far from the town with white horses and fields all around.
Go...and just enjoy an experience and relax there...if you can

Room Tip: rooms all overlook the swimming pool

This hotel was booked by Fleuret Holidays for a photography holiday to the Camargue. The setting is perfect to explore the area. My room (no.10 - pink flamingo themed) was spacious, airy and comfortable and opened out onto a small terrace by the pool - at the end of April it was quiet but I'm not sure what it would be like in the Summer months. The pool area looked very inviting but I didn't get a chance to try it out. The bed was very comfortable.

The best thing about Le Mas de Calabrun is the food. I've stayed at 5* hotels including Raffles and Four Seasons but the breakfast at Calabrun is the best I've ever had - fresh, local and top quality. The gourmet evening meals (of which I had 3) were wonderful and excellent value - they would've cost double in the UK.

All round a great hotel and highly recommended.

Relaxing place to stay. Room was great. Location was excellent, a fair distance from Sainte Marie, but rally peaceful. Take insect repellant but the other wildlife was brilliant. Food was really good. Good base for touring the Carmargue.

Room Tip: Try to get one by the river to watch the beaver families swimming around in the evening

stayed one night in this hotel. The room is rather poor, it is more like a camping bangalow.
Very simple and unpleasant decor- cheaply done. Low ceiling, shower poor quality.
Aircondition is available but havent tried.
Surrounding is nice,
Swimming pool and garden.

We stayed a little more than 2 weeks, for the third time, during the month of August. We are welcomed as if we were part of the familly and it is always a real pain to leave this charmy lovely place.
Everyone is really kind from the garden keeper till the hotel owner. they always do their outmost to make sure you are satisfied and happy of your stay.
The rooms are nice and tidy. Each room as a different style, its own personnality and made with a great sense of decoration.
The organisation is very efficient.
The hotel is located nearby Les Saintes Maries de la Mer but far enough in order not to have the city noises.
There are always young horses next to the hotel rooms which makes the place quite unreal.
The horse rides proposed by the hotel are also a must. Depending on your level, they propose you quiet horses or some with a some temper but all of them are well trained despite the fact they live in a natural environment (catching them is a real experience I can tell you!).
What else could I tell except that we will obviously go back next year!
