We ate here for a specal celebration but were very dissapointed. There were several issues. We were given a table on the right hand side of the ground floor which we realised after we sat down was next to the toilets. The door to which squeeked loudly ever time anybody went in which was very distracting. More serious however was the fiood. The menu lacks a selection of starters other than salads so we chose a main course as a starter. The king prawns were of a good size but were very overcooked. We actually were not certain that they had not been microwaved because they were so hot. The worst part of the meal was the main course of cote de bouf (rib of beef 26€ each). I was very surprised that it was cooked and served without the bone! There really is no point in having rib of beef without the rib as it is the bone which gives the flavour, When we complained they foobbed me off with some nonsence about it not being popular with the bone, Also we both ordered a sauce to accompany the main courses. I had green pepper sauce anf my wife roqufort sauce (both 2.80€ extra). Both sauces were thin and tastless. The only upside was that the young man who served us was very good and the wine was excellent. Overall however 177€ including a bottle of house Champagne and one bottle of provancal red wine was far too expensive.
