“Very pleasant place at the beach”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

This resto stays year after year at the top of the beach resto's
A very professional organisation where the food is always at very good level.
Service is perfect and the boss himself keeps an eye on everything.
A perfect place to have a very nice lunch or a drink afterwards.

“Consistantly great food and ambiance”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

Private parking always a bonus - added to which there is a good bar to hang out at before and after lunch. And then there are the shops too... and the beach matresses... We have been going to the Moorea for over 20 years . During that time we have seen changes, mostly improvements. So happy to report that this August 2013 they have changed their chef and the food is back - with avengeance. My partner had the sushimi tuna that was "divine" which I had the nems - possibly the best I have ever eate, and I have travelled in Asia. For the mains we went more traditional. Half lobster is up for a fair price, fish of the day, and the beef wok which is always a joy. The only thing they seem to have replaced is their former signature dish of sardines with rice and "baie". The atmosphere is tops with friendly staff, sea view, music at reasonable levels, and inobtrusive fashion shows up and down the aisles of the resto. Well done Moorea for another good season.

“It is a factory restaurant. Forget Moorea from the past”
Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

Sorry we loved to come here but the real Saint Tropez atmosphere is away . It takes over slowly La Voile Rouge.
You do not dinner anymore ,it is more a fast running restaurant 30 min.Time is money.
The bar is switch to disco ' And in terms of doing business the management can be right in order to increase turnover.
Wondering how long the Belgium people will take the price increases. Vin de Provence 43 € lowest price for a simple wine . .cola light 7 € .Ok it was high season . But in low season we will visit the others .

“Belgium meeting point”
Reviewed July 18, 2012 via mobile

But no Belgium beer anymore ! Many find this a pitty .Food is good.Gamba top and good entrecote meet.Ask for table seaside because sitting in the back is it not worth. After dinner you can have drink at Jean Claudes expensive bar . 5€ a beer .13,5€ Gin Tonic. On Friday they serve very good mussels a typical day to meet Belgiums
