Le Nautic offers three "spaces" for dining, all day: on the sand (great with kids for shoeless guests), on a slightly raised outdoor boardwalk, or indoors, good on windy days, or for people who might feel chilly at night. Each customer can choose the location that suits them. great freedom of choice. The menu is one of the most eclectic you can dream of, to suit all tastes: from thin crust pizza to thick juicy hamburger with French fries, great steak, through grilled fresh local fish or gambas. Great wine list with a superb and extensive, but somewhat expensive, of truly excellent Rosé de Provence wines. Tonight, the grilled sea-bass fit the fancy of two of the guests while the other enjoyed the gambas (almost as big as pistoleros in Barcelona). The sea-bass were served fully de-boned after having been presented whole to our table. The fish came with great steamed vegetables and rice and an ample supply of juicy lemons. The gambas came with the same vegetables and a superb baked potato smothered under "herbed" fresh cream. The service was impeccable throughout. At 50 Euros per person, wine included, it is not a cheap dinner but it is well worth the price (atmosphere, food, wine and service -- and great company of course). We really had a great time there at sunset tonight, and followed-up, at dusk (it is daylight until 10:00 p.m. at that time of year), with a nice walk on the beach and the jetty, where the boat to and from St Tropez docks daily, in season. Very pleasant.
