“Great location, but”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

Hotel location is outstanding, but our room was very small and the bathroom was even smaller. The room balcony opened to an alley which was very noisy. Hallways were very dark, and there is no elevator. We weren't comfortable there, although we didn't encounter any problem. I don't think we would stay there again.

Good location, near restaurants & the sea (however if you do not want to be surrounded by lots of tourists this hotel location may not appeal to you), room was tiny, breakfast was very tasty (however expensive as not included), room did not have shampoo or hair drier. However hotel was clean and staff polite. If you are not intending to spend time at the hotel apart from to sleep over night this hotel is a perfect choice.

The only good thing about the hotel is the location. It is very central, a 1 min walk from the beach and restaurants and shops and supermarket. The room was very very basic, there were no mats outside the room so when we returned from the beach the room became very sandy. The bathrooms are very small. There is no food served inside the hotel except breakfast in the mornings so we had to eat out or bring food back in to the room. There was not even a fridge in the room so we couldnt keep any thing outside that would get spoilt. At night we kept having an issue with the electricity and the lights and airconditioner kept going off... they came a few times to fix it in the middle of the night and eventually it didnt get fixed and my husband had to figure out how to get the lights back on himself.
They offered us an extra bed for our 4 year old son and they kept their promise but when they brought the bed, we realized it wouldnt even fit in the room... we had to place it at an odd angle with the top half of the bed lifted up against the wall and we couldnt even open the door to the room while the bed was open so it was very very cramped.
For a beach vacation i would not really recommed this hotel... Only if you plan to not stay at the room at all and only sleep in the room it would be ok.

Stayed 2 nights, beginning of October 2012. Right outise your door, is a lovely port city where you can walk streets and sit in port side cafes. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. We knew in advance to make a reservation for their parking garage (only 3 spaces), and no need to move the car. The room was extremely clean, but felt a bit like a dorm room with platform bed and built in desk. Definitely would recommend for short stay.

I stayed in this hotel for 1 night in September. The location was excellent. The hotel was basic, clean and a good value. I don't think there was an elevator at the hotel but there was free WIFI. The front desk staff are really wonderful. They were even kept our bags after we checked out. We took a taxi from the train station and the bus when we left Cassis since we were informed that it could take up to 3 hours for a taxi to come and pick us up. Not a bad place to stay for a short time-just simple with no frills!

There is not possible to find a more central location if you want to stay a night ore two in the lowely french town of Cassis. This is a two-star hotel with clean rooms of simple standard, partly renowated. Have never had a room with beds and bath made as a unit. Only problem at our stay was noise from a bar or a disco that lasted until five in the morning. Rooms facing the harbour gives a wonderful view. And it is not more than 100 yards away from a lovely beach.

Room Tip: Rooms with view have noise from street and bar

As others have noted this hotel is in the midst of the water front and close on to the boules court. It was clean and a relatively good value. Parking is mentioned on some websites and we would adivse you to work directly with the hotel to secure parking which is very limited. Public parking is a bit of a hike, especially with luggage. It was safe though, and close on to a little beach and a great view of Cap Canielle.

There is a tiny shop attached and the proprietor makes great cafe and has entertaining visitors.
