We often eat at "Il Restaurante" on the port in Cassis. Having young children, the restaurant has the advantage of serving pizza for all of those non fish loving little ones. Besides that, for adults the selection is quite nice fish, pasta of course. I cannot wait until this summer for their calamari with a side of lettuce, and a glass of Cassis rose. Light, fresh, just what you want, for a summer dinner. Prices are as expected for the location, not cheap but not outrageous. The outside tables are a must so make reservations quite early. The owners rarely smile, talk very little, but in the hustle and bustle of summer madness it still remains an appropriate level of service.
