The sign said it all ! Guaranteed fresh and prepared with quality and pride !
Arriving at our last destination before preparing to return home, we decided to visit
Cassis. Not big by any means but has a lot to offer especially fresh fish of course.
I ordered fried squid with a salad for starters and a squid, shrimp kabob on a bed of
linguini. My wife ordered the "loop" bass with a small helping of rice and zucchini flan.
Everything was prepared perfectly ! not tough or over cooked or over salted !
A VERY delicious meal served with a "demi boutille" (half bottle) 2009 Domain du Bagnol Blanc at our waiters recommendation !
Looking to quell your appetite for FRESH and WELL PREPARED seafood ? visit Le Grand Bleu.

Attentive, gentle service. Ironically wasn't that crowded around 8 pm when we went looking for dinner, and really lucked out with this one. Excellent port views, nice choices on menu or a la carte. Had a great salad composee, and husband had rascasse. Both excellent. Was also surprised with a pretty great creme caramel (flan-esque) for dessert. Interior is very pretty , sort of 'mas' like with stone walls and modern design touches. (Of course, most of the time you will be eating outside during the season, however). Very recommended!

Had a delightful lunch with the family (kids 9 and 11) with the greatest, nicest service. Our daughter ir allergic to nuts and we had to return the entree she had ordered (shrimp kebab) because it was topped with pine nuts sauce. No fuss about it. Frech home dessert which is so rare these days... Hope to make it back before the end of our stay!
