Hidden slightly away from the main tourist restaurants this little gem is well worth seeking out. They have an excellent children's dish as well. We had the 48 euro menu and the food was first class and well explained by the knowledgeable waitress. The service was relaxed but not so that the children got bored. This is a cut above even the best restaurants in the area and I'm sure won't be long before there is a Michelin star.

This is a serious restaurant - inventive cooking ,served in a modern way. Lots of nice touches including an amuse bouche. At €48 for three courses it is very good value and with some refinement in service could be in line for a Michelin star.
Excellent selection of wines at reasonable prices
The decor , table settings etc place this easily as the best fine dining experience in Bandol

Had dinner in this restaurant on our first night in Bandol. I pre-booked a table and explained my wife had a gluten allergy, which was not a problem. Started meal with glass of nice champagne a tad expensive at €16 a glass, but what the hell we were on holidays! Starter was a fish ceviche with wasabi, delicious, probably the highlight of the meal. Service was a bit slow as it took an hour for the starter to come. But the waiter explained they had only one chef in the kitchen plus we did get a puree of courgettes, coriander and cress with a spicy kick to keep us going. Main course was rack of lamb (just the one chop!) which though expertly cooked left the plate a bit 'naked"! All washed down with a Bandol red wine. Bandol wines are not cheap with the bottle of Chateau Ray Jane we had costing €44 (€18 in the suprmarket). Classy mixed sorbet for desert which is what I mostly have in restaurants. All things considered a successful meal.

Wonderful food, service, wine and decor. The price for what you get is excellent value. We had the echine de porc de Bigorre, and the 1996 Ray-Jane Bandol. Superbe!

We recommend this restaurant highly. It is one of two we visited in Bandol which represent a new generation of chefs - thank goodness! The service is personal, informed and friendly. The menu is interesting and varied. The food was simply full of flavour, well presented and beautifully cooked. We thoroughly enjoyed it. There is one exception though and that is the wine list which is in the main horribly overpriced. e40 for a bottle of Bandol red as an example (though this is repeated in other places) is poor. Yes there are a few wines at less mark-up but I do hope this excellent restaurant adopts a different approach to the wine list. If it does, it will be a perfect place.
