We go to this restaurant every year, and we make it a point to go to Bandol, just to eat there. The owner is very friendly, and the servers are great. I had the gambas (appetizer) which was heavenly, the burbot with chorizo and artichokes, and the mille feuilles. Friends were very happy with the burger, the wild rice and scallops, but disappointed by the pad Thai.

A place that almost encourages not to over eat. There's a good deal at €19 of a main course and a glass of wine, which we found plenty. It was very busy but the staff were efficient and friendly. We'd go back!

We had KV&B recommended by our B&B on our first night in Bandol.
Small menu but interesting. Ordered the burger which was ok and the beef that was really good, so far everything was well but then:
1. When ordering we asked for a recommendation of a local red wine. Later we wanted to order another bottle and asked for the price an was told it costs 38 euro (seemed like it was the most expensive wine he recommended) not cheap but we ordered one more. When we got the bill the price was 45 euro!
2. When we highlighted this the manager told the waiter, in front of us in English, that the waiter should pay for the difference!
3. Then we discovered that instead of four main courses there were five on the bill.

Sloppiness or scam, I don't know, but in total a disappointment.

The chef here is talented serving some of the most imaginative food in Bandol
Restaurant situated in ' gourmet alley ' and is a sister to Le Clocher
Prawns in ketafi pastry - one of the best starters I've tasted
Excellent fish and meat dishes as main courses
Fantastic staff - very friendly , obliging and professional
Have eaten here many times , never disappointed
One of the best in Bandol

like its sister restaurant Le Clocher in the same street, KVB can have long delays as the evening progresses. We got here at 1915 before they opened so were just ok. Menu €35 average value here. Decent rose for €25: my seabass in filo pastry was particularly good. a go-again place
