La Chipote seems to have taken a nose dive! We were there recently for dinner, and although the setting on Renecros beach is spectacular I doubt we'll return. Two of us had a dry pasta with scallops, but practically no sauce. One had moules marinières, usually a dish with lots of lovely broth to dip bread into -- this one had only a a tiny bit of clear liquid in the bottom of a dish of over cooked mussels, brought luke warm to the table. The guest who chose daurade felt very lucky indeed. Maybe in August Chipote gets away with this, but now we locals are their clients and I feel they must pay more attention. To be fair, when we complained they did remove some of the food costs from our bill, but what we really wanted was good food!
