Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights at the end of August. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The room really comfortable, clean and bright, good breakfast and although the pool looked very inviting unfortunately we didn't have time to use it, maybe next time we will.

Stayed at hotel for 4 nights at end of July. The first room we were given was 204 and was very small and basic. We enquired if we could upgrade and were offered room no.1 for 3 nights which was on the ground floor. This room was much better and had a wet room en-suite.
We ate at the restaurant for 3 of the nights and the food was excellent. The restaurant is friendly but does lack atmosphere for an evening meal.
The swimming pool is good and there is a good amount of sun loungers. A few parasols would have been nice for shade.

It just wasn't the same. As we had booked for 4 nights, dinner, bed, breakfast it would have been so nice to have been welcomed back but that didn't happen and throughout our stay the atmosphere was very cold and we felt unwelcome.sadly,as we have been driving to Chatelaillon for the past 15 years or so we shall investigate different options in the future. M.Quetier (?) was not the sort of host whose company we enjoy. We gave the hotel and especially the restaurant high ratings last year and we must confirm that the restaurant is still superb ie food wise as it is dismally dull and miserable in the dining room. We would love to return for a dinner in the future but fear we would be even less welcome. Corinne did make an effort to say have a nice day when we left but Monsieur couldn't even manage a grunt. We paid E421 in cash (thereby saving cc commission) but we were told it was 52 cents short, all good things come to an end. It's back to Les Flots and damn the expense. Dr Mrs Brian Silverstone. Room tip: We had room 115 ,adequate but poorly serviced and with cheapo contents

We came upon this hotel purely by chance and I am so glad that we did. Just a few hundred yards to the beach and a short walk from the town. We had a really enjoyable stay. Parking outside it the street was not a problem, although there is a car park for a surcharge. We used the hotel once for breakfast, but we found evening restaurant food to be excellent. there is a swimming pool to the rear of the property. A gem on a hot day as the beach is very muddy at low tide.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Although most staff do not speak English, they are hospitable and did their best to help my husband, who speaks no English.

Very pleasant stay. Comfortable furnishings. Good breakfast. Overall, good value for the price. But, it got very warm in the room; not enough ventilation. A fan would have been helpful. The hotel is well situated near teh beach, restaurants, and shops. I recommend this hotel for couples, or families with one or two older (8-13 years) children.
