The location is good for the town square. The roads are in a one way system but good parking. Other apartments available. Breakfast is satisfactory, the room pleasant. Bar in evening can be welcoming after a long journey from UK. Staff very pleasant and welcoming.

We picked this hotel as it wasn't a long drive from Calais, and not so far from Paris and it also had a train station nearby. The hotel is located in a lovely village which also has some delicious restaurants nearby. The room and bathroom are both a good size and are very clean and tidy. There is also free parking on-site but the parking area is quite small and would be a tight fit if the hotel had been packed out. We didn't have the breakfast so cannot comment on it. Me just being picky I would of liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room and also a couple of extra pillows, but thats just me. Others might not mind this. Overall we enjoyed staying at this hotel and would certainly come back again.

A group of mail friends travel the First World War battlefields together and decided to go out a bit farther than Peronne and Albert. We found St. Quentin a good location to tour the area and it was a great loaction for not only the Somme & The Hindenburg Line but we also took in the early battles of 1914/15.
We found the Le Florence Hotel in St. Quentin excellent for this and was very economically priced. The rooms all had en-suite and were extremely clean and the staff very pleasant. The young man on the evening reception duty was extremely pleasant and very helpful, giving us lots of local information. The hotel location was right in the centre of town and there was a variety of restaurants and bars at all prices. The hotel has a large free car park which is an advantage as most of St. Quentin is covered by parking meters. As in most hotels in France there is not much choice for English language TV but there was the BBC channel. All three of us intend to come back and found the hotel excellent.

Room Tip: Consider breaking a journey here for a few days as there is lots to see and is not really heavy with...

We had a good night's sleep in a basic but clean and pleasant room with reasonable sized shower and toilet en suite. We also had a large room for 5 to accommodate family with 3 children which is not always easy to find. Secure, on site parking was a bonus in a busy town. No restaurant but breakfast was first class and the children were thrilled to receive Easter eggs on the Sunday morning. Without sat.nav we did have trouble finding it but once we found the Hotel de Ville in the centre it was signposted. The staff were kind and helpful and directed us to a great choice of restaurants all very close by. St. Quentin seemed to be a delightful town and worth a longer stay.

there isnt a whole lot to say about this place. you need a bed and a roof over your head? well you found it. The rooms are very small, your a/c is opening the window to a noisey street, and the bed is simply something to lay on.

we arrived in the early evening to a warm welcome from the reception desk - who saved me from my terrible French. We went to our rooms which were spacious (no3 and 4) on the 1st floor - they had well appointed en-suite shower rooms and were clean and tidy. In the morning it had snowed and the car park was cleared immediately. Our night's sleep was very peaceful and there was hardly any noise. We normally stop over in Reims, so this was a new venture for was and I'd like ot think we'd be back.

This is a lovely little hotel in a beautiful town. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The rooms were spotless. The price was a bargin. I would reccomend this hotel and also the city. St Quentin would not have been on my list before having to pass through. It has a charming little square and some lovely restaurants and bars. I would return and would book in at the same hotel.
