I just love this little restaurant. I have been coming here for over 10 years and I do not think the menu has changed in that time...apart from the Specials Board..but when you have a winning formula there is no need.
The lovely complimentary Salsa is homemade, the duck is to die for (must be had with dauphinoisse pots) and to finish; the Diabalo...a cocktail poured hot from a teapot and set alight in your glass..tasting of coffee but clear and very very good.
Has a small patio garden for eating out in the summer, but framed squares of artificial grass hanging from the ceiling at the back of the restaurant keep you in mind of a summers day in the depth of winter (told you it was quirky!!)
Wo betide you if you do not eat all of your dinner too!!
Just off the Place d'Armes and away from the main tourist drag; mostly used by french folk and us Brits that do not want to sit with other Brits swilling lager and eating burgers and chips!!
