Location excellent right on the sea front. with a good view from the resturant. Unfortunatly the rooms do not have a sea view.
The room we stayed in was rather basic but ideal for overnight stay, the bathroom was a good size and there was complimentary tea and coffee.
The reception staff were excellent but the waiter in the resurant rather off hand and inclinded to rush us at evening meal. The food was very good with a varied choice. Breakfast was reasonable.
We would use the hotel again for a weekend but not for a longer stay, mainly because of the size of the room and the lack of wardrobe/storage space.

We used this Hotel for 1 night on route to the UK. It was easy to find with ample parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had read the reviews on trip advisor before choosing this hotel. We found the room very clean and a reasonable size for this level of hotel. The bathroom was clean but a little tired. The water was only warm when we arrived in the afternoon but was fine the following morning. We booked a table in the hotel restaurant, they have a good a la carte menu. The service was good and the waiter insisted on speaking English. He recommended a wine for 10 euros which turned out very nice. I strongly disagree with the previous writers comments about the restaurant. This is not a top class hotel but it is a very good, comfortable overnight stop.

Thr sheets and towels were clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, could not fault them. However the room smelt sweaty and the actual bed had a very unpleasant smell. We felt very uncomfortable sleeping there and frankly we could not wait to leave in the morning. The room had a feeling of grubbiness about it.
The 'restaurant' is basically a cafe, but you can get wine. We felt we would have had better food at McDonalds, a place we never visit.
We were very disappointed and certainly would not recommend it to anyone.

Stayed there for just one night on a recent trip to Calais, very clean and comfortable hotel the rooms are well appointed with everything you need.
Pleasant restaurant serving a good buffet breakfast.
Not the Ritz but none the less a nice hotel , good value for money, in a lovety position on the seafront.

Stayed one night with my wife and another couple who are particularly discriminating.

We were all totally satisfied with every aspect of our visit and so thoroughly endorse the views expressed by the previous and most other contributors. We had planned to eat at a fairly up-market restaurant in the town but were tempted by the hotel's attractive looking dining room and the meal was first class.

Shall most probably stay again, particularly considering the keen winter rates being advertised in reception. Have reached an age where fitting a shopping expedition and a good meal into a single day is too much. This hotel, plus Eurotunnel's improved tariffs for next-day return trips is too attractive to resist.
