“Well worth an hour”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

Visiting the first floor of the Town Hall is free and the interior French panelling and decor is timeless. The stained glass window is a story in itself too. The Belfry costs about 5£. You get a guide at the top telling you about what can be seen, which is a lovely view of the town and countryside and worth it.

“A Visit to Calais Town Hall”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

It looks medieval but it's not. This is designed in the classical Flemish style rather like town halls in Brussels and Mons. It has an amazing interior with memorials to those killed in both wars which is important. It also has gloriously stained glass windows. I loved that it is a tribute to the city and the religion is not the Church but the celebration of the spirit of the citizens.

“Great Service”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

If I remember right it's only 5 Euros per person to get the lift to the top and the views are magnificent. I repeat, there is a lift. It takes merely minutes to enter the building and end up at the top. The service is very welcoming and polite. Would suggest this place if you're visiting Calais!
