Stayed at this Hotel whilst exhibiting at an exhibition In Calais for three nights what a lovely budget hotel, we were welcomed on arrival by a very polite man who spoke excellent English, our room was very clean and functional the sheets were immaculate and the bed comfy. Breakfast was very simple but ample, again the same man serving! Getting into the Hotel and in your room was accessed by a code not a key which was excellent. The only downside was the noise of the traffic outside but apart from that a great visit to Calais, We would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: The back of the Hotel.

We stopped here whilst on a quick wine run in May .Pre-booked with breakfast the cost was 47 euro for 2 which is good value. The bed is comfy and big enough for 2 6 foot plus adults. The shower etc was great and spotless The breakfast was okay for 6 euro with limited choice but includes egg and bacon in unlimited amounts. Overall exactly what we wanted at a fair price. The hotel is very clean and well run. A little bonus is TV with some English channels such as ITV and Channels 4 and 5.

We wanted an inexpensive place to 'crash' for the night in Calais and this seemed to fit the bill. £27 for the night and it was pretty much what was expected.

Self-service check-in after a certain time, so remember to take the credit card used for the booking and the booking reference. The check-in machine displays your room number and a 6-digit key code is printed on a slip.

Room are very basic and quite small. You need to be a bit of a contortionist to use the bathroom but it's fit for purpose. The beds are not particularly comfortable - quite hard, foam mattresses and the duvets don't really have sufficient overhang either side of the bed to stay in place during the night.

We didn't have breakfast but I took a glance at what was available and it looked pretty reasonable, priced at 6 Euro.

Free parking. Apparently there's free WiFi in all the rooms - I didn't particularly need to connect, which was fortunate, because I couldn't get a signal!

There's a McDonald's just across the road - unfortunately we didn't notice the sign until after we'd grabbed a bite to eat there, but it seems there's a bar/cafe/bistro 50 metres from the hotel.

All-in-all good value for money but wouldn't want to spend more than one night given the relatively uncomfortable beds.

Room Tip: Asking for a room at the back of the hotel may be an idea - rooms at the front can suffer from the n...

We stayed here before an early Eurotunnel crossing. Really good for the money-simple, clean and everything you need. A similar concept to the old 'Etap' hotels, but a better standard of bathroom. It is literally a three minute drive to the tunnel. A simple breakfast is available for a few euros, and there is a McDonald's opposite if you need something hot.

A couple of small points to note...the printout of your booking confirmation email will be needed when you arrive, as you need to enter your reference number into a machine outside. We found this number almost impossible to read in the dark when we arrived, as it was so small, so it might be worth making a note of this somewhere else before you arrive.

After checking in, we were given a number to access our room through a key pad. When we returned to our room after going out to eat, we found that our number would no longer open our door. We wondered if someone had had a go at gaining access and it had locked after a few attempts, although we cannot be sure. There is no receptionist after 9 pm, but a security guard unlocked our door for us. This experience would make us more cautious in future about leaving valuables in our room, but it would not put us off staying here again.

This is a good 2 start hotel that serves the needs of those wanting an overnigh stop or a base for a couple of days. The staff are friendly and the location just off the motorway is great. Looks like the hotel has had a pretty complete refit since our last visit. Though the rooms are small it does what's needed at a good price. Easy to get to with good parking. The rooms lack aircon but to be honest I don't think aircon in Calais is vital very often! Unlike some B&B's the doors to the rooms are within the building not straight from outside as in the older B&B's. For 37 euro's/night we'll be back and having stayed in a few B&B's I'd say this is one of the best.

Room Tip: The rooms at the back of the hotel are possibly quieter as they don't face the road.

Having stayed at B&B Hotel Pisa and experiencing a pleasant stay at a very reasonable price we thought we'd stay at the one in Saint Pierre Calais. The reception we received was brilliant, the breakfast good value but sadly the room and shower room was very tired and extremely small, I think the hotel was probably one of the groups originals. Good location for ferry port and very reasoble tarrif but lacking in confort.

Room Tip: Request room at the rear as night club near front can be noisy.

A lucky find on the internet, this was a good place to stay for one night on our way to the Netherlands. Easy to get to from the ferry port and located right next to the motorway for a quick start the next day, it has it's own car park and free parking. We had a family room (double bed and bunk beds, small en-suite but all spotlessly clean and perfect for our needs for a night) at the back on the first floor (there is a lift if you have heavy bags) so didn't hear much noise from the motorway and none from the nightclub over the road which other reviewers had mentioned There is also a pub over the road but we arrived at midnight so didn't use it. Access to the hotel out of hours is easy using a machine outside the door (it has English translation) and there was a night security guard on duty (no reception staff) who was very helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate, with two hot options (bacon and scrambled egg) and the usual French breakfast fare (croissants, bread, cold meats, orange juice, tea, coffee, etc). For 77 euros for a family of 4 it was good value and we would definitely recommend it (and use it again) for a quick stopover.

Room Tip: We had a family room at the back which, although overlooking the car park, was quiet.
