My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend in Amiens. Initially, it was a little difficult to find at first as its slightly out of the way, tucked behind a supermarket and to the side of the station, however it's a new development, so very modern and it's only a 5 min walk to the main shopping area and about 10 min walk to the cathedral.

The hotel room was slightly on the small side, however great facilities. Large tv on the wall (all French chanell's), tea/coffee tray, air con in the room, sofa bed and a desk area. The room and the whole hotel were spotlessly clean and the reception staff were really helpful. There is a very modern and light feel throuought the whole hotel and the rooms.

Other reviews mentioned the wi-fi didn't work, however we had no problems connecting to wi-fi (we were on level 3). There was no noise either either from the train station or other rooms.

The bathrooms are normal size for a hotel, clean and really nice shower.

The parking is right next door, huge underground car park - dirt cheap, 6euro for 24 hours, but don't pay at the machine... Every time we put ticket in the machine, it came up with a price, but drive to the exit barrier and pop into the office - and it's half the price! I have no idea why, but not complaining!!! Even if you had to pay full price, 6euro is really cheap for 24hrs.

Overall great hotel, Amiens is a lovely city and had a fantastic weekend.

Just opened a few months ago, excellent location - very good standard and much more than we ever expected from a Campanile, well presented with resonabal food and at affordable prices. If anything was lacking I would say staff training fell behind, although friendly and helpfull you would have noticed the lack of experience in handling problems. Overall very good experience and would gladly return as I know staff will become more experienced

Room Tip: All rooms I checked were similar

Being only about an hour from the Eurotunnel we chose this to stay here after a late crossing so we could be ready to head south the next day.

New Campanille hotel, rooms are simple but have everything you may need. The "Green" is quite vivid on the eyes. Arrived at 22:00 and went straight to bed. Good nights sleep and not a peep from the station was heard.

Typical Campanile cold buffet breakfast, nothing special, was later on in the breakfast times (10:00) and the staff were a bit scarce. Desk staff very helpful and the housekeeping staff very polite.

Drop off only outside and parking in the Vinci car par adjacent. BE WARNED. if you have a vehicle with a higher roof and high opening tailgate or a roof box you will need to watch out for the very low heating pipes and power ducts all over the roof of the car park.

Would stay here again.

Arrived here follow trip through WW1 Somme area. Hotel seemed very new (June 2012) staff very good, we arrived at restaurant about 20 mins too late, big party just being seated so had to wait for 90 minutes, had option for buffet but decided to wait for main menu - still gave a chance to try a few of the beers. The meal was worth waiting for. Car parking is just over the road in public underground so you pay separate but reasonable rates, we left the car there til 14:00 following day and it only cost €9. Whilst we walked round the town, we stored our bags in their secure room (rather than put them in the car). This hotel is approx 10 minute walk to the cathedral and old town but immediate vicinity doesn't have much to write about. We were initially a little concerned when we drove through the roads and tried to find it on google street view (it aint there, that's how new it is) but don't worry, it is all very pleasant. You can park up outside whilst you unload your luggage before going to carpark.

New, centrally located hotel, perfectly situated for visiting amiens. Decent size room and bathroom (allthough flimsy screen results in wet floor after showering) Good beds, good tv (typically for france only french channels). No complaints other than that the info on parking is skimmish on the internetsite. This campanile has no parking on site. The parking next door costs 6€ / 24h.
As we tend to use local establishments rather than the hotels' we cant comment on the staurant.

Room Tip: The train announcements didnt bother us but a light sleeper might prefer a room on the road side

Right in the middle of Amiens with easy walk to cathedral, shops and river. Car parking in adjacent public car park but only 6 euros for 24 hours. Newly opened hotel and furnished to a high standard. Desk staff spoke good English and were very helpful. Would recommend as a good value central hotel. Free acces to WiFi worked well throughout stay.

Room Tip: Go for a higher floor but all rooms are the same and there is no real noise problem

I was very pleased with my stay at this new hotel. The location is excellent, particularly for train travelers, since it is a few steps from the train station. The room was small, but very modern, and it had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The sound insulation is outstanding; we didn't hear any outside or inside noise. The room was also very, very clean. And at present the rack rate is extremely reasonable.

Claudia at the front desk was great. She speaks excellent English and she was extremely gracious and helpful. She definitely helped us get our stay off to a good start.

The only problem was internet access. They were going through a transition, and there was no internet available in the room. We could pick up a wireless signal in the lobby, but it wasn't great. I think that once they fix their internet problem, this hotel will merit a five star rating.
