Over the summer months a wonderful light and sound show is screened onto the facade of the cathedral at 10 pm and is a must if you are in Amiens or nearby.

This is a definite must if you are visiting Amiens, it is a magnificent example in excellent condition, most of the writing inside is in French, so worth booking a tour if you want to understand all its history, but it's free to enter if you just want to stroll around.
We were fortunate enough to be there for the light show which happens every night on August at 10pm absolutely stunning, magical and moving.
Definitely worth a visit

Came to stay in Amiens just to see the cathedral.
Not disappointed - so well preserved most of the statuettes still in place, unusual for most buildings of this age. The care an attention to preserve it, especially during the 1st WW paid dividends.
The light show was incredible - most impressive.

This is one of the most impressive, gothic cathedrals that you will ever visit. Well worth the time.
