Ideally situated for exploring wonderful town of Amiens. It is really old - since first half of the XIXth century. Our double room was quite spacious , the bedding comfortable, windows were new and soundproof. But it urgently needs updating of the bathroom. We had certain trouble with the bathtub. At first it was impossible to close the drain to fill the tub. When we managed it, then we just could not open it to drain the water and spent an hour trying to lift he drainage lid. That experience really has somewhat spoiled our stay at the hotel.
Breakfast was solidly average - even with egg-boiling device with an individual timer for every single egg.
The hotel doesn't have any parking, and actually it is against the rules even to stop the car at the entrance to disembark the baggage, but nobody seems to care. The nearest parking - not too expansive - is five minute walk away.
The Cathedral - the main attraction is 10 minute walk away.
Very quiet at night. Good view from the windows. May be recommended for a short stay due to it's central location.More
