“Good hotel in convenient location”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

For those visiting the Amiens area this hotel is fine,
Its nothing special but its clean, well positioned and very well priced.
Staff were friendly enough and were able to point us in the right direction of local sights.

A basic 2 star hotel - only a couple of minutes walk from the station, also close to the cathedral and to the "entertainment" area along the river.
Friendly staff, smallish but clean rooms - just about the right price at 67 euro for a double per night with a private bathroom. (Some cheaper rooms with shared facilities are available). Didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on that, but the breakfast room looked clean and pleasantly set-up.

We arrived at 1:30am and checked out at 11:00am. It suited our needs. Our room was basic, but clean and had a sink in it. We found parking in front of the hotel which was free until 9am and 1euro per hour after that.

We did hear some noise from other rooms and used earplugs (snoring, walking on creaky floor).

The pillows were square, and flat.

We paid 43EURO.

For 7.5 euros, this is the best breakfast menu so far on our travels in France. Most helpful staff, including with free wifi, this place is spotless, quiet location, and very handy to train station, mall, and near lots of eating places on the river. Family run, ask son for help with wifi. Our first floor room was small, with toilet in passage or down stairs. Walls a bit thin. Floor boards creaked. However, these were minor inconveniences. Would recommend this to budget conscious traveller, who is a big eater, arriving by train with a back pack, or anyone who likes a good breakfast to start the day!

Room Tip: Make sure to ask for first floor as their is no lift

Somehow I'd rather stay in an average hotel than dine in an average restaurant.
This is a great central place to sleep and use as a base as exploration for the surrounding area. The breakfast at an additional charge is fine, the wifi is an over priced extra.
The rooms were very clean, quite small and a bit dated.
We had no problems with noise and the beds were comfy, though lacking in pillows!
Staff were very friendly

We stayed in a triple room on the first floor. Reasonable size room with a TV, phone, 2 chairs, 2 small desks and wi-fi in the room. There was an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub! Everything was very clean. There was a bit of noise at night, but it wasn't too bad. The staff was very nice, happy to chat in English or French, and kindly allowed us to deposit our luggage early in the morning, well before check-in. Location is excellent. Fantastic value for the price.

We had a bedroom with shared bathroom for 2 nights with the breakfast. We were very happy with it and really enjoyed our French/English conversations with our host even though we spoke very little French. If you just want somewhere to sleep with a good location this place does the job. I would recommend the breakfast, it is great value and very good quality. You would find it hard to get something better, even at the nearby railway station.
