For authenthic French food, you'll have to visit this restaurant! There's love in the food and the young owners really care! The quality was this year even better than last year. The menu is also in English and Kathleen speaks English very well. Next year we defenately going back!!!

I visited the restaurant on a sunday lunchtime out of high season and was encouraged to discover that all the other tables were occupied by French peope-alway a good sign. The husband and wife team have chosen a traditional menu to include frogs legs, veal, eel, and fruit de mer. The husband and wife team of chef & waitress obviously work well together and the fact that she spoke excellent English was also a bonus when discussing the menu. The restaurant looks like a thatched cottage and is very quaint and cozy. I will definitely visit again next time I am in St Jean de Monts.

This is a restaurant with adifference. Situated in a old thatched cotage ( a bourinne). The food is traditional, includes, eels, frogs legs and of course oysters! It is not the cheapest around, menus at €25 and €39. plus a la carte. The food is carefully prepared and beautifully presented. David and Kathleen have owned it for the past three years and it is advisable to book a table in high season, weekends and bank holidays.
English is spoken and a very warm welcome is extended to clients.
