This is a lovely restaurant which fulfills its claim to provide food from around the world. We had a superb meal there earlier this month and have eaten there many times in the past. The menu varies and this time there was a Mauritian theme (prawn curry soup). The fish is always something different and one of the specialities is Kangaroo steak, Prices are very competitive with a mid day option.
The ambience is lovely a large airy room with wraught iron partitions and a distinct Asian/Indian theme. There is also a lovely terrace for hot sunny days, but the drawback of course is it is used by smokers and if you are not one this can be aproblem

This was my second visit to Baracoa and I was as impressed this time as I was the first. The food is a fusion French/Asian theme with something for everyone. There is a good choice of wines from not only France but elsewhere too. Both times we were lucky enough to dine outside on the pleasant terrace over a very leisurely meal and did not feel at all hurried to leave after we had finished. The waitress and her husband are the owners and make a very hard working team who use their experiences abroad to combine delicious flavours and beautifully presented cuisine. I can't wait to go back next time I am in the Vendee.

Asian influences from the owners travels all around, fantastic presentation ever better flavours... friendly waitress even though she was rushed off her feet with a packed restaurant you still felt important to her!

Great if looing for something a bit different in a beautiful setting!
