Centrally located, clean, friendly, helpful staff, large comfortable room with good ensuite bathroom. What more could you want? This hotel had it - a courtesy tray in the room. Something which is sadly lacking in most European hotels.
St Nazaire is an excellent centre for exploring this region which has some picturesque villages and fantastic wildlife viewing opportunities.

Hotel is well located in the port area with a shopping mall, supermarket, restaurants and lots of free parking. Rooms are clean, modern and neutrally decorated. In-room WiFi is not free as another reviewer stated, but costs 1 Euro per 15 minute block. Overall - decent value at about 90 EUR a night with 1000 extra bonus Priority Club points to boot. Service was efficient and very friendly.

Only negative point was that my room was too hot, I tried the air-con but it just pumped warm air - I assume the system is switched over to heating in the winter. I opened the window but it was noisy outside with crowd noise and music drifting across from somewhere. I mentioned this to the staff upon checkout, and to their credit they were very concerned, made a note of my comments and promised to look into it.

Can easily say that this compact hotel is very well situated. The shopping center is across the street, port of St. Nazaire is in walking distance (not too close to port of Montoir), plenty of restaurants around, rooms are clean but not so large, staff is helpful free internet access in the rooms.

Can recommend this hotel.

A quick review on the hotel:
Location: Easy to access. Near/next to the water. Shopping plaza across the street.

Staff: Very friendly and helpful. Even helped me with a luggage problem I had and helped me translate onto paper what I needed from a luggage store in the plaza. They spoke English which was helpful since we are Chinese and only know English and Chinese and very little French.

Accommodations: Rooms were very nice. We had 3 adults and a 2 yr old in one room. The room they provided us was a decent size, not overly large, but then again we didn't pay for an overly large room. The room fit a double size bed, a twin size rollaway bed, and a toddler playpen. There was still decent room to walk around. The bathroom was nice and spacious. There was no closet, but instead a storage station that had some shelving and a small rod that could hold possibly 6 outfits. There was also a desk station which we definitely used since there were 3 adult luggages we had to store.

Breakfast: I personally never made it down to breakfast, but my parents did. They brought back delicious pastries and meat and cheeses to the room (not sure if they were supposed to do so, but they did). However, we stayed on a Sat and Sun night, and there seemed to be a difference in the selections for a weekend breakfast and a weekday breakfast. They did not have any pastries that Monday morning. I don't think it was due to them running out...I think they just didn't offer it. It didn't really bother me since I really don't need the extra calories, and there were still other things to eat.

Internet: Free internet stations. You had to pay for wireless.

Overall, I am very happy with this hotel. The staff were extra friendly, which made this such an enjoyable stay.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel we had such a lovely welcome from (loerene) not sure if I have spelt her name correctly sorry. Loerene was really cheerful and so helpful, booking a table for lunch etc - she also told us about the strike that was taking place that day and ensured we had a room at the back of the hotel. The room was lovely and clean and just what we expected. Breakfast was again really good everything being really fresh and tasty. Thanks for making our visit special - would recomend this hotel to all - Loerene you are a star :-)
