We had a day visit here as part of a coach trip of Brittany. From the moment we left the coach in the well landscaped coach park heading for the shuttle bus we were attacked by hoards of mosquitoes. We moved away from the queue for the shuttle and the verdant lined path to the relative safety of the wide path leading to the causeway. We walked the 3km to the ramparts and enjoyed the view of the imposing Mount St Michel, commenting on the grazing sheep and school parties combing the beach. On our return to the coach the weather had changed from overcast to light rain keeping the mosquitoes down. We counted the bites the next day with most people having eight or more up to twenty two for some even though they were all well covered to arms and legs. Yes visit this site but be very wary of the mosquitoes something we learned later it has been going on since they created the car parks in 2014.
