Our first night we walked down the main road 513 and this restaurant got our attention with a nice menu of local sea food, nice meat dishes for reasonable prices. All 4 of us took the Moules - a must - with Frites. 10€ for the dish and 2,90 for the frites. Really tasty bouillion and they know how to make their Frites! For avec with the coffe you must have a Calvados, Fast and friendly service and nice atmosphere. I can really recommend it.

we stayed at a flat nearby and we visited this restaurant 4 times! first time I was with my 7 months old baby alone and the waiter suggested to warm up the baby food in the kitchen which was a nice gesture. we came for dinner the same evening and we were placed to a window table where offers sea view, they also provided a high chair for baby. the restaurant became very busy after 8pm and many people walked in looked local, the owner (or manager?) was always there to greet the customers speaking with big jolly voice. We ordered two starters and one main course (fish) to share and the food was more than enough! the restaurant also offered complimentary calvados after meal. we went again for afternoon ice cream the next day, there is an ice cream shop next door which I guess is part of the restaurant. we had 2 scoops of strawberry sorbet and one scoop of vanilla icecream decorated with fresh strawberry and cream in a beautifully presented glass, it was very good. Our last visit was for dinner and we only had two main course, one is duck and the other is salad. we had a nice chat with the waiter who looked after us. he also entertained our baby from time to time and gave him a cuddle/ squeeze on our way out. he told us 90% of the customers are locals which we believe is true as the restaurant has a very friendly and warm atmosphere. people all seemed happy and having a good time! (PS, dogs are friendly here as well!)

the price is reasonable; my big tuna salad and orange juice costs around 12 euros; our first dinner (3 dishes plus a bottle of wine) was about 80 euros, our last dinner (2 dishes with 2 beers) under 50.

service charge is included in the bill, so no need to put extra tips ( we still left some though to thank our waiters for looking after us)

My daughter and I went to this restaurant because there was a queue outside and good smell coming from inside. We had Moules Mariniere with Assiette de Frites, Assiette Crevettes Roses, Salade Verte, Limonade and Fanta Orange for lunch and paid 32.00 euros. Service was good. Maybe because we spoke some French and knew about seafood well. It is located near the beach and high street.

This prominent brasserie has great food, tainted hugely by the terrible service we received on two seperate occasions. On our first visit we had to wait so long for water I went and asked at the bar; three glasses were poured and then LEFT on the bar by staff for us to go & fetch to the table. Unfortunately we left a child's jumper after that visit & despite returning just 10mins after leaving to collect it no one would check in the kitchens to see if it ha been cleared away.
On our second visit (to pick up the jumper!) we were told instantly when we had sat at the 'wrong' table but then left over 10mins with no menus or drinks order taken!
A real shame, as good food & great English spoken by the waiters could have had this rated 5*
