This prominent brasserie has great food, tainted hugely by the terrible service we received on two seperate occasions. On our first visit we had to wait so long for water I went and asked at the bar; three glasses were poured and then LEFT on the bar by staff for us to go & fetch to the table. Unfortunately we left a child's jumper after that visit & despite returning just 10mins after leaving to collect it no one would check in the kitchens to see if it ha been cleared away.
On our second visit (to pick up the jumper!) we were told instantly when we had sat at the 'wrong' table but then left over 10mins with no menus or drinks order taken!
A real shame, as good food & great English spoken by the waiters could have had this rated 5*
