My wife and I had dinner here in mid September - although the season on the Fleurie Coast was winding down, it was packed. That should not have surprised us since the meal we enjoyed was excellent. Menus are emphatically French: two set menus provide good value. Our four course €33 set menu was well chosen and centred around a main of either baked cod or duck breast, both of which were done to perfection, with a generous starter, dessert and cheese. Presentation throughout was very good indeed and the service offered was rapid and helpful. We found little to criticise, save for the wine list, which is both decidedly expensive, and not as large as the oversized book it arrived in, But in the round, this is an exceptionally good restaurant which is strongly recommended - booking is essential especially in the summer and at weekends
