The one and only waiter was alone so we waited a long time for aperitifs. once served he was very friendly and helpful but was so rushed off his feet a little sparce in conversation. the restaurant is done out like an old english pub, signs and posters all in english. a man who was helping out with clearing tables played piano, banjos and drums with my nephew.
overall a fantastic dinner. let down slightly by service but i feel bad for putting him down for this as he was busy. gorgeous food. slowish service. excellent atmosphere!
will definitely visit again when in the area and a number 1 on my list of french brasseries.
