Visited this restaurant last weekend for what must be the 20th time in as many years - so good we go back every time we're in Boulogne. The table d'hôte menus have changed little in all that time, but what they do, they do so well. Try the moules entrée, served in a shell dish - still the best we've ever tried!
The proprietress told me they've been there 23 years now - he cooks and she serves. Yes, I agree she does not always appear very friendly, but we've never had any problem with food or service, and thoroughly recommend the restaurant. And no, I've no axe to grind and am not in their employ - as she had no time or inclination to chat I did not tell her that I would be recommending the restaurant on Tripadvisor!
