“Expensive”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

Booked this for one night on our way back to the ferry as a change from staying in Calais. We paid 91 euro so was dissappointed to find its more like a budget hotel. It was an extra 14 euros for breakfast.
It was very clean and quiet when the window was shut but the hotel illuminated sign kept us awake. I wouldnt stay again

Good location facing the sea and large free car park outside. The car park is very busy during the day (August) so we abandoned our car further away and drove it in when the day trippers had gone home. Be prepared for this if you are visiting in peak season.

Rooms are small but adequate. Bathrooms clean and modern. Breakfast better than average and leisurely check out time of 12 noon. We pre booked and requested 2 rooms next to each other, one double and one with 2 twin beds. This was catered for perfectly. We had a rear facing room and with hindsight I would advise booking the front, sea facing rooms - much more natural light

Little communal space downstairs but there is a whole town to see out there!

Useful tourist information nearby near the aquarium which gave us a town map. Old fortified town pretty. Beautiful flowers around the town and even the use of curly kale amongst the flowers to add definition. The French know how to make places look pretty.

Room Tip: Seafront rooms are a significant improvement on rear facing rooms

This hotel looks a little shabby from the outside, but inside is clean, modern and comfortable. It is located directly opposite the beach and there is ample free parking outside. It is about a 10/15 minute walk to town but there are a number of bars and restaurants within a few hundred meters.

Our room was comfortable and clean - king size bed with a desk etc and plenty of space for luggage. Not huge but bigger than most city hotels.

The Breakfast buffet looked good but at €9pp we didn't go for it, preferring something from a local patisserie instead.

made a reservation for this hotel since february for july, for 1 night during our honeymoon.
They called me on the morning of the arrival day when I was on may way. I told them I was arriving at 14:30. They told me it was ok. On arrival they told me I didnt have a valid card. My card which I made my reservation expired in April but it was renewed with the same number so it was valid. I stayed at 3 more hotels in this trip. No other had a problem with this.
It was very unprofessional.
They made a reservation for me at another hotel which was further and more expensive . It's outraging.
I would never stay at this hotel.

We stayed there for 2 nights, july 2013. A nice hotel, in front of the beach and very quiet.
The rooms are neat, well cared and comfortable. You can park opposite the hotel, and it's free, very convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is good, better than we expected including a selection of breads, croissants and other pastries.
We recommend this hotel for its location and breakfast. Thank you!

Paid a whopping 78 Euros for one night no breakfast. Room was claustrophobic and bathroom covered in mould.
Try a b & b or Matelot.
Location was away from town, bit of a walk. Avoid this place or book a room at back if you can't avoid as the local kids hang out the front.

Room Tip: Try and find one that has enough room to swing a cat!

We stayed there for one night on June 2013
Clean hotel. Close to the beach - just over the street. A lit bit load on beach side since it faced o road
Breakfast is good
Stuff is friendly and English speaking
Overall I would say that it pays to money it asked
I would guess that there more comfortable hotels but that question of price and destination to the beach
