We chose Amarine because it looks out directly on the Place Des Heros, the finer of Arras' two grand squares. Unlike some other restaurants we looked at, it was well patronised and lively. We had some excellent fish starters and a delicious beef main course. There was a good range of wines, and the bottles were left on our table to top up from as we wished. At 9.00 p.m. the floodlights all round the square and especially on the Hotel de Ville cam on and created a superb effect. The bill seemed very reasonable. All in all, a very good experience.
