Very modern and well equipped this is essentially a ski resort hotel but we were passing through on bikes. It was very quiet and we didn't eat diner in the hotel. The reception was manned by the daughter who was charming; she and her mother helped us to secure our bikes in the underground car park. The hotel has a nice pool and the rooms are excellent.
An added bonus was the stunning young lady who served breakfast; every hotel should have one!

Fabulous location just off the main square. we were there the day the Tour de France came through town which was a great thrill. pool was nice, ping pong table was also nice. The room was clean and the beds were soft. Breakfast was great. perfect hotel for cycling up the mountains! No a/c in the bedrooms so got a bit hot - and was a little noisy as we had the windows open all night.

This is a very good hotel in a pretty little town and a good location, its clean and comfortable with sitting areas. It would make a good base for the area and I could have stayed longer than one night. The town is worth looking at and seems quite new, there is a church and grounds outside the hotel making the area attractive.

We arrived in town late in the afternoon and stopped in the tourist office to inquire about hotels. This was one of several 2-3 star possibilities. We liked the price (50 EUR per night), the location, the friendly staff, and the basic comfort of the room. It was perfect for our 2-night stay. It was convenient to walk to restaurants, very near the small Casino supermarket, and near beginning of the trail that we hiked. We did not have breakfast in the hotel and bought our morning pastries at a boulangerie just around the corner. We'd recommend this hotel!

We chose to stay here rather than the nearby and very popular, Arreau and were extremely pleased with our decision. While Arreau is a very picturesque village, St Lary Soulon is much more traveller friendly in regards to value for money, parking, restaurants, shopping etc. The hotel was very easy to find, spotlessly clean, a very reasonable price and the staff were very friendly & helpful and also spoke good English. Breakfast was excellent. Parking onsite and free.
