This is almost more like a large B and B than a hotel. Our room was large and well appointed with a huge bed and kettle, AC and electric shutters. The garden is pretty, a modest size, but there is ample parking.
We thought we would be in Rodez but in fact the hotel is is a new town across the valley. Too far to be a pleasant walk on busy roads, and buses do not take dogs here, so we parked in a paying carpark just outside the old city, with no trouble even on market day.
The owners/ staff were charming and recommended restaurants as there is no dining room, though there is room service.
Breakfast was good continental, with extras available. Freshly squeezed juice, local honey, homemade jam, excellent breads etc, unsweetened muesli, thank goodness.
The only annoying thing was the wifi - you seemed to have to log on afresh every time you wanted to use it.
Not cheap, but I would always go back if in Rodez. .More
