While staying with a friend, we ate in this restaurant twice. The plates de jeur provided ample food and variety. On my first visit I had a salmon dish, which was overcooked, but the sides were very tasty as was the desert. On my second visit, I started with a salad with chicken, which came with enough chicken for the entire meal. The main course was a filet, a little tough but tasty. By the time it came to desert, I could barely eat any more so had a sorbet. The wine is always good and inexpensive, as is the panachet, a mixture of beer and lemonade. One of the best parts of eating in this restaurant is the service. I would have rated the restaurant a 3 had it not been for the attentive, friendly staff and the convenient location and fine atmosphere across from the Cathedral de Notre Dame de Rodez.
