I visited Le Graufansenque on a Saturday morning just before lunch and we were the only visitors. The lady at the desk spoke very good English (though we tried to do our best with our extremely limited French vocab). She gave us English translations of the guidebook and we watched a video (in French) of the archeological digs. It was amazing to see the actual pottery that has been recovered from the site. We were allowed to handle the 2000 year old pottery as well.
Outside is some of the Roman ruins. The area is not very large, but its still interesting. The entire visit probably took an hour or so. The cost is reasonable at 4 euro/adult or 6 if you want a combo pass with the downtown museum which we did not have time to visit.
