We stayed at the villa for two days. We were welcomed like friends (although it was our first visit), rooms were spacious, very comfortable and very clean. Mark and Peter were keen in sharing their knowledge of the region and provided great advice on what to do and where to go. Breakfast was fabulous and dinner there was much better than the surrounding restaurants. A beautifully decorated villa.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at La Villa. Everything is perfect with a high attention to detail...the stylish decor, delicious food and relaxing pool/garden. Peter and Mark made us feel so welcome, offering handy tips as to where to visit and gave the sort of service we had never experienced before...including the offer of delivering a shirt we left behind to my office in London! We will definitely be coming back next year...best holiday ever!

We had arranged to meet a couple of our friends from Australia, Anita and Rob, at La Villa De Mazamet. They had told us how fabulous it was and how great the hosts were as they had stayed a couple of times before. So we had to try it and as our friends had booked to stay again we arranged to meet them at La Villa. We were not disappointed. The villa is everything you would want in a luxury B & B from beautiful surroundings in a beautiful part of France to lovely rooms with luxury toiletries. The continental breakfast is everything you would want to start your day off. The evening dinner is superb, cooked to perfection by Peter with Mark always on hand to ensure you have everything you need to make your evening special. The hosts work tirelessly, and nothing is too much trouble. They are alway on hand from serving drinks to advising you on what route to take on your sightseeing drive the next day. We will definitely be back to stay next year.

La Villa de Mazamet is the best chambres d’hôtes we ever experienced in France.
Everything is just wright and close to perfection.
The rooms are luxurious and spotless, breakfast is of great quality, fresh fruits and home-made biscuits are really doing the job.
The house is of a grandeur you seldom see.
And what about dinner? In one word: Superb!!!!!!
Peter did a great job! The food is of very high quality, well balanced, great flavours...
The ravioli with truffles and mushrooms were to die for.
From the moment you arrive in this wonderful house, you immediately feel at home.
The tips given by Marc to discover the region are of a great use.
Mark and Peter run their business with a lot of dedication.
We are surely coming back.
Thanks for a lovely stay in your little paradise.

We first visited La Villa in October 2012, following which, we signed up to the newsletter, and were delighted to win two nights in the new deluxe suite in a newsletter competition! We decided to extend our stay, knowing what an amazing time we had last year, and eagerly awaited our stay...
...and we weren't disappointed! I'm glad to report that La Villa has by no means lost it's sparkle. In fact, we didn't think it was possible, but we actually think it has got better! There is now a wonderful gazebo area in the garden for enjoying drinks, and we thought Peter's food last time was amazing, but this time, it was even more delicious, especially his panna cotta with apricot compote and a delicious peanut-chocolate brittle - wow!
As ever, Mark and Peter create the perfect atmosphere, and every detail is attended to. If you're looking for a retreat in absolute luxury, set in stunning scenery with delicious food, you'll struggle to beat La Villa!

A stunning French villa in a lovely part of SW France. Peter & Mark know the meaning of excellent "hospitality". If you love walking, biking, medieval villages, pretty countryside, excellent wine and food then this is the place for you to stay and explore the area.

Room Tip: We stayed in a Classic room (No 5) and had no complaints whatsoever. Excellent value for money.

Mark and Peter are not running a bed & breakfast, they are clearly living out their passion. Their passion is shared between the beautiful French countryside (Tarn, Midi-Pyrénées) and their sumptuous villa which they restored to its deserving glory. In this beautiful setting they set out to cater for their guests' every need and thus provide an excellent stepping stone for discovering this enchanting part of France. Keeping a professional distance, they tend to think along wth their guests as much as possible without ever becoming too familiar. Although the little town of Mazamet doesn't deserve more than an occasional stroll, it's strategically located to visit the worthwhile sites and towns around it. If you don't feel like moving around, the villa's pool and garden provide excellent room for relaxing and should be topped off with one of the lovely dinners served at the hotel.

Room Tip: Try not to opt for the room right above the kitchen, as it occasionally does send up some smell in t...
