We have been waiting for the food for 1 and a half hour, with screaming kids at the next table. There is no information about when the food is coming

Winter day trip in the Yellow Train. Very heavy snow precluded a wander around to find a top rated restaurant in the town so we fell into the first decent looking establishment we encountered off the transfer bus. Very busy (the weather) but the effusive maitre d' found us a table for two adjacent to the door. Completely mad decor, especially the ceiling - amazing! After we were seated, prospective diners were turned away in their droves so we were lucky. Small tables quite close together made for a convivial experience. The plastic table cloth covers took to the breeze every time anyone walked past and overall smell of melting cheese is typical of a mountain restaurant. Pleasant half litre of local wine for €7 (6.50 on the menu) heralded a very nice lamb skewer with oven roasted vegetables. The pizza, oh the pizza. Why do the French insist on using any French cheese to hand on their pizzas rather than the correct buffalo mozarella ? The result was a nice bready base, good ingredients all swimming in a puddle of chewy, greasy anonymous cheese which I suspected to be Emmental. The cafe gourmand was excellent and the bill very reasonable for the location. Fellow diners seemed to be enjoying yard long strings of molten cheese as they lifted the bread from the fondues. Overall a good place but avoid the pizzas.

The pizzas are OK and the place is cozy and funny. I think the best must be the fondue but we didn’t tried it

Well, really a good place, even in summer! the name is not a cheat! cheese for all ;-) you know what to expect, the dishes with potato and bacon and cheese are very good, as also the omelets with mushrooms they serve. Give credit to the wine recommendations, and the gourmet coffee is a really a sure bet! Have a try.
