We have eaten here from time to time over the past few years and have never been dissapointed. We are particularly fond of the "seicche a la plancha" which is certainley one of the best we have ever had anywhere. Also excellente are the "couteaux" which are one of the "greats" of the shellfish world right up there with "St Jacques". There is a small but good choice of wines. The personel is pleasant and the decor very comfortable. The fact that les Halles is not on the port is not of importance if your intention is to eat extremely well at reasonable prices rather than watch the crowd go by. You also eat just as well in the winter as in the summer.
