“Surprisingly decent food by the marina”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 18, 2012

I went for the EUR 27 gourmet menu, a three course setup. The local oysters were sublime, the duck breast was superb, and the apple tart was a work of art. Along with some wine, surprisingly good value for EUR 40. Waiters are attentive but not bothersome and provide very good service. The ambience is quiet and slightly upscale, different from many of the more lively dining places in the marina area.

“Nom Nom Nom!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2012

First of all this is hands down my favorite restaurant in Paris!!! It has the old Parisian feel with old school waiters with old school service... It's not very spacious so it's almost like the tables are cuddled together with different tables enjoying phenomenal classic french food. The selection of wine is impeccable along with the quality of food that they have there to offer! I LOVE the foie gras (with bread, their bread rocks), escargot (best I've EVER had period), scallops, chicken, and their seasonal fruit. Yes, this place IS expensive but it's worth every dollar and every minute it took to make it and then eat it!!

Bonne appétit!!

“Disappointing restaurant for the food and the service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2012

We went there 3 days ago for a dinner. The waiters were not interested by what they were doing. The food was under average, except the dessert which was very good ( Big "baba au rhum" and very good creme aux oeufs. For the rest : Fish dry and overcooked, my lamb schank was very dry and smelly, not good at all. For the starters we had aubergines in a kind of strange sauce, not very good.. Expensive place for what they provide.

“Food was disapointing”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2012

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews, but wished we hadn't. The food was overly oily and overcooked - much overpriced for the food you get. Very disappointed.

“A real Treat!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2012

We went to this restaurant by chance, not having done any research only because when passing by the ambiance seemed good, and it was, so was the food! Better make a reservation because even at the end of the summer we only had a table because we arrived early. A little while later the restaurant was almost completely full and one could see that most tables had been reserved. I had decided against this restaurant in the previous evening because unlike other restaurant it doesn't have a nice view to the marina. The restaurant is situated in a not particularly appealing narrow street, which is a pity but on that evening my husband decided he wanted to try it because of the good menu, so we did! And we were impressed.... We won't go to Cap D'Agde again because we dislike the place but this restaurant really stands out!
