“Better Bar Experience than Restaurant... Reasonable prices”
Reviewed March 24, 2012

Best thing at this place is the bar - both of them.

The rooftop bar has some couches, high tops / bar stools and regular patio seating. It's first come, first seated - on a beautiful day or evening you can hit the "atmosphere jackpot."

The main bar downstairs is serviceable and well staffed on my 3 visits there. I would skip the indoor restaurant seating entirely if possible and weather permits (unless you are with a bunch of kids). The booths have jail cell bars (pirate theme?). It doesn't work for me and the service has been less than stellar. Sit outside on the patio, upstairs on the roof or at the main bar - better service and atmosphere.

Draft beer is reasonably priced for the area ($3 for bud light, $4.50 for craft beers - pints). The choices on the menu are not thrilling. Guacamole is acceptable and some of the tacos are serviceable.

“Worth 10% gratutity”
Reviewed February 26, 2012

It's my 3rd time at Twisted Taco. Host was very friendly (and another waiter.) But our waiter wasn't. Two orders came out wrong... Wings were supposed to be 1/2 & 1/2 - came out one style (Buffalo.) They are very small and dry - not like the picture on the menu. They smelt old - like been in the freezer for awhile. We also ordered rice & beans on the kids' menu. Fries came out instead. My steak taco was not good. The tiny steak cubes was from a poor quality piece of steak (again unlike the picture on the menu.) We bought the halfoffdepot deal. I didnt' present it until the check came out. So the service was bad before I showed them the deal. They automatically charged 18% gratutity for 4 people with bad service and poor food quality. I didn't think it was worth 18%. Prob 10%!!! Disappointed with food & service this time.

“One of our favorite casual restaurants”
Reviewed February 6, 2012

Great variety. Top quality ingredients. Roasted tomato salsa. In addition to traditional Tex Mex choices, you can select multiple tacos from a list of about 30. Everything from hot wing taco, gyro, fried chicken, grilled chicken, fried fish, grilled fish, shrimp, crab cakes, traditional, cheesesteak, etc.
Very spicy so ask for sauce on side unless you really like it hot.
It is a sports bar environment - no kids after 10. Can be long wait for dinner on weekends but not during the week. Very reasonable prices for the area.
