Loved this place. Beziers, generally, is quite dodgy, but this little charmer made up for it! The host and her husband were delightful and made us feel welcome. The car park is around the corner, but no great inconvenience. Our room was a budget special (so no park views), but it was excellent value for money. Certainly worth a stay if you're in charm-free Beziers!

Me and my father recently stayed at this beautiful hotel very near the sights of Bezier.
We were kindly greeted by Madame, even though we didn't arrive until late at night.
Madame and her husband were very helpful and between our broken French and their above average English, they advised us on beaches and local places to visit.

Continental breakfast of fresh bread and jam was simplistic yet obviously fresh and more than adequate (extra charge £7)

Rooms were small but comfortable and functional with plenty of charm. We had a room at the front of the hotel with a wonderful view of the park (directly opposite) through our balcony.
En suite had beautiful power shower!!

All in all, I would revisit this little gem, Bezier is convenient and plenty to do, shopping, cafés, eateries, churches and parks.

Me and my husband stayed here for our first anniversary this weekend. It is a lovely hotel, rooms are small and basic but what you expect for a 2 star, most importantly they were spotlessly clean. The owners will go out of their way to help you despite our language issues. They have bikes to use which was great as we didn't hire a car, we wish we had made use of them earlier. Definitely say out of the hotels we saw in Beziers this is the nicest looking, the outside is immaculate and breakfast room nicely decorated. Right next to a beautiful park and near the train station. If you want a nice hotel for a reasonable price this is pretty much perfect.

Room Tip: Try and get a room facing the park.

Really nice little simple hotel with very helpful and nice staff .
Great position in town next to gorgeous park.
Friendly staff who were happy to give advice on where to eat in the town etc .
Its got the atmosphere of a authentic old style French hotel which I liked as there seem to be less and less of these around . .
It was spotlessly clean and I would definatly stay here again .

My husband and I stayed at this hotel mid-October, 2013, based on Trip Advisor reports, which have never let us down (until now!). But I still think Trip Advisor is a great resource, and to keep its integrity, I feel that I need to take the time to write this report, even though I really liked the owners, especially Philippe, but they are not doing their job to maintain cleanliness at their hotel, and this hotel received an award of excellence in 2013! Going up to the room, the banister seemed encrusted with dirt, but we overlooked it, thinking maybe it was just wax buildup.
Our room was a family room (that's not what we wanted, but it was the only one available--they were booked! We had a double bed and two twins. We elected to stay in the twins, since that part of the room had more light. I must admit that we did not check the beds, just trusting the positive reviews, and we didn't notice anything that afternoon, except that all the beds had bedspreads and cloth headboards hung on a rod!
The next morning went down to the petit dejeuner, which we thought was very poor, then back up to our room to brush teeth. That is when we noticed that both twin beds were crawling with bed bugs! Big ones, little ones, hundreds that we could see. Some were engorged with blood! We immediatly told the housekeeper and the proprietors who were horrified! They didn't know how that could happen! Angelina (Philippe's wife) said it was because they get a lot of bike riders who ride the Canal du Midi and sleep anywhere. If she feels that way, she should take even more precautions to insure the cleanliness of her hotel! This situation had built up to this point of infestation!
They sealed off the room, put us in another room (we did not see any bugs that night) and we left the next day. It has been about a week now, and I am covered with bites! My whole body feels like it's on fire!
In my opinion, this hotel should have their award of excellence and stars taken away for awhile until they learn how to run a hotel!

We recently spent one night here in transit to the UK. Our room was so small you could barely swing a cat. Bathroom was also miniscule & (even though we are not particularly large people) we had to turn sideways to get through the sliding doors into the shower stall. The furnishings were also very cheap-looking (Iower end of Ikea ) and well-worn. No closet, just a handful of hangars on the wall. Breakfast was minimal and we couldn’t believe the ridiculous allocation of two tiny teaspoons of jam on a tiny plate. This place runs on a really low budget but charges high prices. Noise factor was also annoying. We were given a depressing room at the back facing all the neighbours’ apartments & we could hear every conversation and argument. The ONLY good thing about this place was the location and the proximity to the train station. All in all, just a pretentious little hotel.

Room Tip: If you must stay at this hotel, don't expect too much and try to get a room at the front facing...
