Third time we have been -just brilliant. Area is fascinating and the facilities in the village and adjacent villages more than adequate. The key thing is that the farmhouses and cottages are beautifully appointed yet one doesn't feel afraid to be relaxed. Ideal for all ages and certainly for a large family. Perfect if one just wants to lounge by the pool but plenty of activities, beaches, restaurants, markets and history in the surrounding area
4th time now at the Roussillon Farmhouse so that says it all really - we can't stop coming back! The Mas was once again lovely & clean when we arrived with everything we could need for the fortnight. Assistance on hand with any queries. Wonderful stay, plenty to do around the area. Popped over to Spain for a couple of day trips. Collioure, Ceret for nights out, short drive to the beach (Le Racou is nice). you may well be seeing us again! thanks to Paul & Annette (& Derek) again
We were a family party of ten sharing adjoining cottages with a lovely shared garden and pool. Our two week holiday in this fabulous part of France was fantastic. Our properties were very clean, well equipped and comfortable and we could not keep our granddaughters out of the pool!
The location could not have been bettered with shops, bars and restaurants a five minute walk away and day trips to the coast a mere 20 minute ride away. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return later this year.
Everything, from the first mail contact, has been great.
The venue is everything you need for a calm or active vacation in an interesting part of France. Wine, hiking, golf, historical places, relaxing etc.: there is something for everybody.

Have just got back from spending a week at this lovely chalet.
Decided to do something a bit different over new year so booked this place for a group of eight. Fancied getting away from all the usual chaos of the holidays and couldn’t have picked a better spot. Out in rural france with beautiful scenery gives a real sense of getting away from it all and evenings spent eating and drinking by the log burner couldn’t have been more perfect. Paul (the owner) was really helpful with the booking and sorting everything out. Place has everything you need and a real quality feel that you don’t often get with many holiday rentals.
Weather was amazing - couldn’t believe we were sitting outside in t shirts drinking and enjoying the beautiful scenery around the chalet in January. Really quaint little French village just two minutes walk with all the amenities you need including boulangerie, bar, restaurants etc
Paul recommended a few vineyards to visit which were all very friendly and a lot of fun and some beautiful spots up the coast. We even managed some skiing in Andora which is only a couple of hours drive.
All in all a fantastic holiday and a really great chalet perfect for unwinding. I would certainly be keen to re visit.

We stayed at Roussillion Farmhouse for the month of November this year. We had a fabulous time.
Although there are other houses on the property, you feel like you are in your own private oasis. The backyard is reserved for you and your guests, and the hedges provide complete privacy. The pool is great, with lots of sun chairs for relaxing with a good book.
The house is lovely and very high-end. The kitchen was well-equipped. There are lots of showers, and one tub.
Derek, the caretaker, was very helpful when we had questions.
Paul and Annette did a great job of answering any questions we had, via email, before we arrived.
The dishwasher, washing machine, free WIFI, and free calls to landlines were all wonderful additions that we might not have looked for, but very much appreciated having when it came down to it!
Villelongue-dels-monts was a very nice town. The people were all very friendly. We rented bicycles and were able to bike to the next town (Laroque) where there is a great bakery, a library, and some art classes.
I would recommend a car for staying at this villa. A car is very handy for driving to the beach. (The owners recommend Argeles-sur-Mer, but we preferred the beach just one town north of Argeles. St. Cyprien has lovely, fine sand on the beaches.).
You are also just a 10 minute drive to Spain! You can take the very scenic, oceanside drive to Spain, or the quick 3-lane freeway drive. Food and gas is less expensive in Spain.
All in all, this is a lovely place for long stays.
