The hotel is not in town, and I am not sure I could have found it without the GPS. There is nothing within walking distance so you must drive to town or eat in the hotel restaurant which is vary good. The hotel is in a 17th century farm house in this grape growing area. I thought the room was a little small but comfortable bed. Dinner and breakfast food was vary good.

We normally come to this area in July every year and have enjoyed this hotel up to now... but we were disappointed by the service this year... the rooms are the same, very nice, but we did not seemed to be so welcome... very sad... we will think of changing hotels for this coming year !!!

Room Tip: Were always had a suite...

Bonjour,
Really sorry to read your comment. I cannot recall events from July without your name, and my memory is not that good. What can I say, I am sorry that we were not up to your expectations.
We wish you all the best for 2017, at the Auberge or not.
Best regards,
Magalie

I booked the restaurant for my wife's birthday
It was amazing, the venue, the staff and the view, on top of which the food was superb. They even remembered that it was a birthday treat and the dessert came out with a candle. The whole ambience was superlative.

After a long cycle across the Pyrenees we had booked two nights at Auberge du Roua as a treat for recuperation. The cycle to the hotel hugged the main road, and we were a little nervous that we'd not picked a particularly attractive place to stay. However, once we'd arrived into the hotel grounds, the noise of the highway gave way to the nesting swallow squeaks, and the gush of water features in the garden. We stayed in the cheapest garden overlook room (Emeralde, I think), which was spacious with a very large bathroom. Little view from the room, but perfectly nice. The owners and their staff were very obliging, and we enjoyed drinking our kir royal peche on the terrace by the pool before dinner. Breakfast was really very good, with lots of different breads, baked goods, and all sorts of yummy fruits, yoghurts, cheese and meats. Great choice of espresso drinks with a Nespresso machine, plus actual boiling water for pots of tea. The evening meals were faultless--we had the 26E menu and it was simply delicious (although we were expecting the menu to change each day for guests staying more than one night). (Restaurant reviewed separately.) It was a surprise that the pool wasn't heated, as it would have been too cold for most guests.

Stunning setting with Pyrenees in the background set beside a swimming pool. Food here is the best in the area. L'escargot followed by lamb were superb. We also took my 13 year old son who loved it. This is a must see, my try restaurant for any foodie.
