The purpose of this stay was to get a good night sleep between flights. Since our flight was delayed, we only arrived after midnight and had some dificulty finding the shuttle, until we figured it was best to take a taxi instead. In the hotel, the room was a bit small, but very comfortable and you even forget you are right next to the airport as you can't ear a thing. Morning breakfast was nice, unlimited with the usual coffe and fresh bread, it's worth the extra you pay for it. In the end this is defenitly a good place to stay for the night

The hotel is excellent for one night layover between flights. It is located within a complex of other Accor hotels (Formule 1, Novotel) and close to Hyatt.
The staff was excellent (check in opened 24/7), the breakfast was very good too, the rooms are usual IBIS standard, but they look quite new.
I was quite worried about how to get there, when arriving shortly before midnight, but it is really not that complicated. All the shuttle buses (hotel navettes) go from Terminal 3, so no matter which Terminal you land, you need to take the CDGVAL train (self-serviced trains going between Terminal 1 - Terminal 3 - Terminal 2) and go to Terminal 3. Once you leave the train, the shuttle buses stop is within 50 metres walking distance.
There is lot of other buses to different hotels going from there, so make sure you take the right one. It has to go to Paris Nord 2. There is another IBIS hotel nearby, but different bus goes there.

This hotel was great! It is in a cluster of hotels, all in a block of concrete buildings some distance from the airport, between branches of the highway and next to the Hyatt. All the non-Hyatt hotels, including the Ibis, are served by a pink (or white and pink) shuttle bus - in French a navette - that goes from the airport and airport railway stations. The navette takes 10-20 minutes, be warned that at 8 am it was very crowded, and many people had to wait for the next one to what they expected. I would recommend going 30 minutes earlier than you thought you would need. It was a bit tricky to find the navette stop at the Gare 2 railway station, be persistent and keep looking for the sign for "hotel navettes".

The hotel itself was excellent. The rooms were small, but sparkling clean and nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable, you could adjust the temperature (air conditioning/heat), there was a desk, an excellent shower, and free wifi! Despite the fact that planes must have been flying overhead, I didn't hear a thing - the soundproofing was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not included in the room rate, but was 7.50 EUR, a standard French with very good bread and coffee, definitely worth it, and all very well-organized and clean.

One thing to note: there was only one non-hotel building in walking distance and that was the Courtepaille Restaurant, a chain that rather reminded me of a French Cracker Barrel Restaurant (maybe because it was decorated with old-fashioned farm implements). If you like Cracker Barrels in the US (which I do) then this might be fine, but it's not gourmet French food.

I was there a Sunday night and got the weekend rate, which was significantly cheaper than the weekday. That made it a fantastic deal, and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

I have only stayed here once - I was due to change flights at CDG; it was winter and storms delayed my incoming flight so I missed my connection. The French authorities took a little time to organize 24-hour visas for some of us - but hey, at least they gave us the visas, and didn't tell us to sleep on the floor of the transit lounge!!

Transit to this hotel was easy and quick; the Isabelle-Adjani look-alike receptionist spoke English; rooms were small but well-equipped and neatly designed. There was no wake-up call service, but the room had a particularly loud alarm clock - essential for me at that point in my life, with a morning flight to catch next day, and exhausted as I was!! Breakfast next morning was only coffee and rolls, but good enough for me.

Everyone knows the Ibis is not a luxury chain, but in the circumstances, that particular night, it was just what I needed, and I slept like a log.

I stayed here for one night in May 2010. I had rented an apartment for a week in Paris before going to Corsica for the weekend. I stayed at the Ibis for one night between my flight back to Orly from Corsica and my flight back to LA leaving from CDG. I took an Air France shuttle (19 euros) from Orly to CDG.

The best part of this hotel was Roissy. I expected this area to be a wasteland, like the area around the airport in LA. But Roissy is a cute little village, with old houses, a pretty park, a church and several restaurants and shops within walking distance from the 20 or so hotels clustered near the Ibis. It actually was fun to spend an evening there rather than going into Paris and it's easy to meet other travelers who are also in transit.

Some hotels are cheaper than the Ibis, which was 85 euros or about $96 at the time, but many of the reviews for the cheaper hotels reported problems with the bathrooms and/or with the shuttle from the airport - either hard to find, or didn't run often, etc. I knew I'd be tired and didn't want those kinds of problems. The Ibis shuttle was easy to find - I asked at the information desk at the airport and they told me exactly where to wait, and there was a sign - and it arrived within a few minutes. They bill you 5 euros for the shuttle, which they don't tell you about upfront. The hotel was busy and clean. Their wifi charge is outrageous - they charged 11 euros or about $14 for 24 hours of wifi - this was hard to take but I wanted it so I paid for it. Their breakfast buffet turned out to be a bargain: 9 euros, or about $11, for a big unlimited buffet, and they had fresh baguettes and ham and cheese so I was able to make an extra sandwich for lunch.

I would definitely stay in this area again. I might try the Hotel B&B next time, which uses the same shuttle and is a little cheaper, but the Ibis turned out to be a good choice.

My family of five stayed here because it was close to CDG. Rooms were very quiet. We had room 201 & 401. Rm 201 had 2 beds, a single and double, so three people could share that room. This room smelled badly of smoke. Rm 401 had one double bed. Bathrooms were small but functional. No bath just shower. Combination shampoo/shower gel provided was just ok. You might want to bring your own shampoo. Shower pressure was good. We booked this room a few weeks ahead for only 45 euros per night. Don't expect too much and you will be satisfied. Breakfast was light buffet for 7 or 8 euros. Coffee was instant out of a machine. Free wireless internet. (you have to ask for sign-in and password at front desk.) Parking was 10 euros per night. Food at chain restaurant (Campanile?) across the street was marginal at best. Very tough meat entrees.

This is a good and average hotel.
Almost all the same; free limited wifi for maybe about 1-2 hour.
I've tried about 5 Ibis Hotels in France, and the breakfast is totally the same, just varies in price-depending on the location. The IBIS hotels I stayed in France were 1 step away-which means one step from the entrance door to the bathroom, one step bathroom to the bed, and one step from bed to the window- so.."One Step Away" ;)
or even half step for the ones close to the Paris city center.

This is not that close to the Airport where you can walk. The parking for 1 night is about 8euro++
