“Best bakery in Roissy”

Boulangerie Patisserie Gautier
Restaurant details
Reviewed March 20, 2016

This place seems to go by many names. Here it's listed as 'Boulangerie patisserie Gautier', the main sign board above the bakery says 'Artisan Boulanger Patissier', there is also a sign saying 'Isabelle et Yves Gautier'.
Anyway it's the same place, same address and the only bakery on Rue Dorval so we're talking about the same place.
They have some nice bread, sandwiches, and desserts. The Pain au Raisins was very nice.
They open early. I think about 7 in the morning and are open till late evening. I think Sunday is a half day and they close by 1 pm.

We were staying in a nearby hotel for a few nights and found this pastry shop while walking through Roissy village. This spot is very popular with the locals. We came here at least 5 times during our stay always ordering something else - croissants, tarts, baguettes, etc. all very good and a great value. Service was excellent. One thing we couldn't find in the village was a place to get some great coffee.

We were at the Marriott, up early, jet lagged. We were there at opening (5 minutes away across park) all the fresh croissants pastries and baguettes were still warm. What a nice treat to begin our trip.

What better way to start the day than with a warm croissant.

The smell wafts out this place and tempts you to come inside.

An array of cakes and naughtiness greets you like an old friend.

A perfect example of a well run French bakery.

Delicious

We bought our lunch from here to take on the plane it was really lovely and we enjoyed it so much more than aeroplane food. The croissants especially were so fresh.
