“Very busy restaurant - good food”
Reviewed April 15, 2014 via mobile

We were staying at the Marriott and went for a walk. This restaurant was nearby and saw the place was quite busy.

We arrived at 730 and we got the last available table inside. Exterior would be nice if the weather was a little warmer.

We had the orange duck with potatoes. The seasoning on the potatoes was very good. The duck was quite good, but my wife's piece had a little more gristle.

Price was acceptable for being so close to hotel alley.

Make sure that you relax and enjoy the atmosphere. If you are expecting fast service and quick turnaround you will be disappointed.

“Very good find”
Reviewed April 14, 2014

Decided a walk was needed from our hotel and hopefully find somewhere local to eat. It was dark and to suddenly come across this lovely village setting was a pleasant surprise, it almost seemed that it was manufactured, to compliment the large array of chain hotels squashed into one area. I have just goggled and Roissy Village was definitely there first. This restaurant stood out as it was still full at 9.30 pm. We had a table for two in the back of the restaurant, quick service, excellent wine list with good, fair, recommendations. Starters of Escargots were amazing. Specials board chicken with tarragon was delicious and the veal t-bone ENORMOUS but very tasty. Could have done with a more interesting salad or some vegetables. The dessert and cheeseboard were as only the French can serve. We were some of the last to leave and I was a bit annoyed with our waitress noisily stacking up chairs around us while we were finishing our meal, and the wine was the price of our two main meals, but very good! Will definitely be going back later this year.

“Fabulous restaurant”
Reviewed April 14, 2014

13 of us arrived including 7 children but they found space for us. Really wonderful food, no children's menus but food which children are happy to eat. Wonderful mains and fabulous desserts. The wine was great as well. Would definitely recommend

“WOW! What a gem!”
Reviewed April 11, 2014 via mobile

We went in at 6pm, and sat at a table drinking beer until we could order at 7pm. I had two starters. Carpaccio and Escargot. Both were amazing! In fact, I had a second order of the Escargot! Rich, buttery, with a hint of garlic served with sliced bread! OMG was it good! The Carpaccio was served with a light vinaigrette and onions! I thought it could use some fresh cracked pepper... Great staff! Answering every question for a bunch of Americans with out being offended! I can not wait to go back!

“Ok restaurant, but slow service & overpriced food/drink”
Reviewed April 10, 2014

We ate here, while on a CDG layover at the airport Marriott. It was convenient & close to the hotel, being about a 5 minute walk. It's located in the small village of Roissy, which is near many of the airport hotels. We decided to try this restaurant as the location & menu looked nice. Our server ended up being one of the bartenders, who had a bit of a rough, impatient personality, especially when dealing with questions about the menu. I think he was annoyed by our French/English language barriers, which should not be an issue at a restaurant near a bunch of airport hotels. We decided on the set 2-course menu for simplicity, but not for it's value. A small salad, salmon lasagna, dessert & a Coke ended up costing around $32 USD per person or $65 total for a 2 person lunch. Expensive, even for Paris standards. The service was also quite slow, with our server essentially forgetting about us & requiring me to ask for water 3 times and also for our desserts. I didn't feel like a valued customer there, but just another American tourist family that they had to deal with. I'll try another place next time.
